TallyTasker stores all your job data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal information. No account is required.
This policy explains what data TallyTasker uses, why, and how it is protected. It applies to the TallyTasker Android application available on Google Play.
🗄️Data We Store
When you log a job, TallyTasker saves the following information locally on your device only:

This data is stored in a private Room (SQLite) database on your device. It is never uploaded to any server or shared with any third party by TallyTasker itself.
📢Advertising Free tier only
The free version of TallyTasker displays interstitial ads powered by Google AdMob before each job save. AdMob may collect:
- Your device's Advertising ID (a resettable identifier)
- Approximate location (derived from IP address)
- App interaction data for ad relevance
This data is collected and processed by Google under their own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
Premium users: AdMob is never initialised. Zero ad-related data is collected.
You can reset or opt out of personalised ads at any time in your device settings:
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset Advertising ID / Opt out of Ads Personalisation
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or respond "Ask App Not to Track" when prompted. TallyTasker requests tracking permission (Apple's App Tracking Transparency) solely to serve relevant ads to free-tier users; declining does not affect any app functionality.
💳In-App Purchases
The Premium upgrade is processed entirely through Google Play Billing (Android) or Apple's App Store / StoreKit (iOS), depending on which app you installed. TallyTasker never sees or stores your payment details. All billing data is governed by the respective store's Terms of Service.

TallyTasker does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, or any other sensitive permission.
🗑️Data Deletion
You are in full control of your data:
- Delete individual job logs from the Ledger screen at any time.
- Uninstalling TallyTasker permanently deletes all locally stored data.
- To request assistance with data deletion, email us at the address below.
👶Children's Privacy
TallyTasker is designed for adults (18+) and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
🔄Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
